Mary Jo
Byrnes
Mary Jo has called Montgomery home since 1987 and is a lifelong resident of Cincinnati. Before becoming a realtor in 2014, she worked as a real estate appraiser, gaining valuable insight into property valuation and market trends. In 2016, she was appointed by the Hamilton County Commissioners to serve on the Board of Revision, which rules on appeals from property owners contesting their valuations—an appointment that reflects her experience and professionalism.
In her spare time, Mary Jo is an avid pickleball player and led a successful three-year effort to bring four new pickleball courts to Montgomery in 2020. She spearheaded the launch of the first pickleball fundraiser in 2024 for Realtors with Heart, raising money to purchase and donate life-saving AEDs to community spaces. When she’s not on the court, she enjoys spending time with her family and looking after her two rescue dogs, Newfoundland Mable and terrior-beagle mix Cinder.
