East End
The East End is a unique, linear-shaped community stretching for seven miles along the scenic banks of the Ohio River, with its boundaries ending at Lunken Airport. Originally named Vanceville, after prominent landowner James Vance, the area later adopted the name East End, inspired by the former East End Baseball Park located nearby.
This picturesque neighborhood offers breathtaking views of the Ohio River and Northern Kentucky, with an eclectic mix of housing styles and price points. Historic homes, many dating back to the late 1800s through the 1930s, include charming Victorian-style residences, while modern mid-rise condominiums and townhomes provide contemporary living options.
The East End Area Council (EEAC) plays a vital role in fostering housing initiatives and promoting community development, ensuring that the neighborhood continues to thrive and attract new residents.
