CHALLENGE PROPERTY VALUES

Property owners should be aware that they have the right to challenge their property value. Challenges are filed with, and are heard by, the Hamilton County Board of Revision. The Board is comprised of three members: the County Auditor, the County Treasurer, and the President of the Board of County Commissioners.

It is important that property owners remember that challenges must be filed between January 1 and March 31. Necessary forms, instructions and guidelines for filing a challenge can be obtained by calling the Board of Revision office at (513) 946-4035.

You can also access the information at the Board of Revision web site.
